Introduction:

The SONEL MMR series is a versatile, multifunctional low-resistance micro-ohmmeter designed as a single solution for testing HV circuit breakers, transformers and other low-resistance or inductive objects. Its state-of-the-art design combines high measurement current, advanced measurement algorithms and a stabilized, non-pulsating test current to deliver reliable and accurate results, even under demanding field conditions. The MMR series supports measurement currents up to 200 A for resistive objects and up to 10 A for inductive objects. With its high-power current source and measurement accuracy of up to 0.25%, it is particularly suitable for measuring HV switch contacts and other critical electrical connections. The instrument can also perform measurements on objects earthed at both ends, such as the main contacts of HV switches, and supports one-way or two-way current flow. Its high immunity to external electromagnetic interference enables reliable operation in environments with interference levels associated with systems up to 400 kV.
