Powered by advanced Thermo-Lock Technology, Thermo Paint changes colour when a specific temperature threshold is reached—typically 70°C (150°F)—providing an immediate and highly visible warning of potentially dangerous temperature increases. This passive, non-conductive solution enables operators to identify temperature irregularities through a simple visual inspection, without relying on complex monitoring equipment. Once activated, the integrated temperature-lock technology retains the colour change, creating a clear indication that elevated temperatures have occurred and helping teams initiate timely service or work-order actions.

Base Material: Silicone-free, water-based acrylic with organic pigments.

Container Sizes: Available in sizes ranging from 0.5 fl oz to 176 fl oz.

Permanent Colour-Change Temperature:  Approximately 70°C. The coating reaches approximately 50% colour strength at 70°C.

Permanent Colour Change: Red.

Temperature Tolerance:  Approximately ±1°C. Heavier coatings may appear to change colour at a slightly lower temperature than thinner coatings.

Response Time: 5–20 seconds at 70°C, with approximately 1 minute required for the full colour change.

Storage Conditions: Store at room temperature and at a humidity level not exceeding 25°C (77°F), or in a cool environment. Protect from freezing.
